The 2022 Teaching Public Administration Conference (TPAC) was held in conjunction with the annual NASPAA Conference October 19 – 22, 2022. The theme, “The Time is Now: A Bold and Noble Public Service for All.” The 2022 NASPAA Annual Conference was held in Chicago, IL.
TPAC aims to help educators have the teaching tools necessary to meet the current and future demands of the public service workforce. TPAC began in 1978 and has a rich history of offering teaching workshops and panels for public administration instructors around the globe. We are delighted this year to be co-locating with the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). Now in the third year of collaboration, we believe co-locating TPAC with NASPAA bridges two important associations serving the public administration field. Together, NASPAA and ASPA SPAE are working together to impact current and future educators of public servants around the world. TPAC 2022 includes workshops and panel sessions throughout the NASPAA conference. On Wednesday, we are offering two workshops: the first on Open Educational Resources and the second on teaching with case studies. During the other days of the conference, there are panel sessions by ASPA SPAE members that include a TPAC designation in the conference program. We invite you to join us at the workshops and panels as part of your NASPAA attendance. Enjoy the conference and the opportunities to deepen your knowledge as an educator. We are honored to reconnect with you in person and look forward to seeing you throughout the conference.
